People seek couples counseling for a variety of reasons, e.g., learn productive ways to communicate needs and wants, recover from an affair or other painful experiences, relational maintenance, conflict resolution, skills needed to blend families and other parenting challenges, and assessment of the health and future of the relationship.
Therapists at WTCG seek to meet couples where they are and journey with them to define and achieve relational goals and fulfill life’s dreams. Together, couples will discover both strengths and weaknesses, patterns of dysfunction, and problematic areas which often result in unproductive conflict. Moreover, couples will discover new ways to connect emotionally that will enhance their relationship, their individual lives, and family environment.
At WTCG, we recognize the importance of the relationship between the therapist and couple. Each therapist’s approach can be as unique as the couple. For this reason, it is important to meet our therapists on their individual staff page. There you will learn about their areas of interest, education, specialized training and certifications.
Couples counseling is not limited to traditional couples.
